Hello beloved sisters!
As the energy of Thanksgiving swirls around us, the shopping, cooking, travel, family gatherings…it’s easy to feel pulled away from our center. This year, let’s remember that our true nature isn’t found in the perfect dish, the smooth schedule, or the soothing family atmosphere but in the simple act of presence and gratitude.
To reconnect and find genuine ease, try these simple practices, they certainly helps me to get centered:
1. The 60-Second Anchor: Before you step out of the car, answer the door, or sit down to eat, take one full minute to breathe. Close your eyes, inhale slowly for a count of four, hold for four, and exhale for six. This deep breath is your instant anchor to the present moment, calming the nervous system and reminding you that you are safe and grounded.
2. The Micro-Gratitude Scan: Look around the room and name five things you often overlook but are currently providing comfort (the strong chair supporting you, the warm light, the sound of laughter, the soft texture of a blanket, …). Connecting to these tiny, physical realities shifts your focus from worry to abundance.
3. Gentle Observation: If tension arises, practice gentle observation instead of reaction. See the stress, the rush, or the disagreement as clouds passing in the sky. They are temporary. Your true self, the space beneath the clouds, remains still and clear. Just observe the feeling without judgment, and it will lose its power over you.
May your Thanksgiving be filled with ease, genuine connection, and the quiet joy of being completely present.
With Rooted Love, Rinat
